RWT is actively looking to fill a full-time IT Help Desk position within our dynamic and growing team. This position will provide Tier-One remote support assistance to our clients located in the greater Baltimore, MD area.
- BS/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field (preferred, but not required)
- 1-3 Years experience working as a Help Desk technician or related field
- Professional, customer-oriented individual able to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven use of remote control software/applications to troubleshoot hardware, software and other technology systems
- Dedicated home office space (company provided technology will vary)
- Communicates clearly, effectively and professionally, both internally and with customers
- Troubleshoot and resolve end-user or basic network related issues via the ticketing system, email or phone support requests
- Maintains Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements based upon ticket priority
- Effectively troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, while understanding the need to escalate based upon issue type or inability to resolve in a timely manner
- Independent study and training to keep up with changing technologies
- Accurate and detailed notetaking, ticket reporting and time tracking for all tasks
- Must have knowledge in PC/Laptop hardware, networking, printer functions, wireless networks and firewall hardware
- Maintains confidentiality and security of clients’ data by adhering to company security standards
- Contributes to team effort by participating in team meetings and sharing technical knowledge with other team members
- Prepare end-user hardware for onsite deployment following strict customer specific deployment guidelines

- Provide assistance to Help Desk team to ensure SLA's are met or to provide support for them to resolve their ticket, e.g. on-the-job training

- Dedicated home office space (company provided technology will vary)
- Communicates clearly, effectively and professionally, both internally and with customers
- Resolve infrastructure or network related issues via the ticketing system, email or phone support requests that have been escalated from Help Desk
- Complete infrastructure projects from start to finish utilizing industry specific best practices
- Maintains Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements based upon ticket/project priority
- Effectively troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues based upon issue type or
- Independent study and training to keep up with changing technologies
- Accurate and detailed notetaking, ticket reporting and time tracking for all tasks
- Must have deployment knowledge in networking infrastructure, server/storage hardware, Windows/VMware virtualized environments, wireless networks and firewall hardware/configuration
- Must have experience in Windows based systems management, security solutions, backup & disaster recovery management/resolution, as well as a proven track record to develop and execute sales engineering tasks for proposed solutions.
